2011 RAM Pickup
Mileage166,061Service Date11/12/2025Services Performed- ` -Vehicle required a Jump Start, Battery is completely dead. -Scanned and Documented Fault Codes. -Verified Customer's Concern, Vehicle sat overnight and would not Start, just cranked. -Fuel Pressure reading 14-17psi before Cycling the Key to the Run Position. -After Cycling the Key 3-4 times Fuel Pressure achieved 55psi which is Desired Fuel Pressure to Start the Vehicle. -After Vehicle sat for another for 15-20 minutes, Fuel Pressure drops down to 30-45 psi. -Possible concern with Fuel Pump or Fuel Relay which is part of the Fuse Box (Total Integrated Power Module). -Vehicle sat overnight the next day, Battery was completely dead. -Jump Started the Vehicle and Started right up. -Fully Charge the Battery and Vehicle sat overnight again, but Battery was completely dead by morning. -Jump Started the Vehicle again, started right up. -Battery Fully Charged Tested Good at 12.67v and 978cca with a Rating of 730cca. -Performed a Parasitic Draw Test on Vehicle and found there is a 10amp Electrical Draw causing Battery to Drain Down overnight. -Started removing Fuses from the TIMP and found when the 20amp Fuel Pump Fuse is removed the Draw went away down to 0amps. -After installing and removing the Fuse 2 times, the Draw stayed away and the Vehicle still started up normally. -Suspect the Fuel Pump Relay is faulty, but is built into the Board of the TIPM (Non Serviceable). -Requires replacement of the TIPM (Total Integrated Power Module). -DTC P0481 is a direct relation to the Electric Auxiliary Fan Assembly, Verified the Fuses are good as well as the Relay, commanded the Fan On with use of the Diagnostic Tool, but there is no Fan Operation, Verified the Fan is receiving Power and Ground when commanded on. -Requires replacement of the Electric Auxiliary Fan Assembly for proper Air Conditioning Operation and Overheating Prevention. -Vehicle Running noticed the Mechanical Cooling Fan (Fan Clutch) is not spinning very Fast even at Operating Temperature, was able to stop the Fan with ease by Hand. -Requires replacement of the Fan Clutch to for Overheating Prevention. `
